What happens after the 12 weeks?

It depends where you're at. If you have more weight to lose, you are welcome to continue with appointments until you reach your desired goal otherwise, you can simply the follow the plan by yourself. It's completely up to you. 

How is Metabolic Balance® different to anything else?

MB is backed by science and decades of success. It is centred on the findings of numerous medical research studies, personal research, and experience. This complex program gets continually refined and adjusted to reflect current research. This plan is specifically design for YOU from YOUR blood markers. It is not a "cookie cutter" approach and includes only the foods that bring you optimal health.

What are the four phases of the plan?

  • Phase 1: The preparation phase starts the detoxification process and is key in preparing your metabolism for the next stage of the program. Phase 1 lasts for 2 days.

  • Phase 2: This strict adjustment phase lasts for a minimum of 14 days. You will have the option to remain in this phase until you have reached your desired goal. During this phase, your metabolism will slowly start to adjust and become more efficient.

  • Phase 3: This is the relaxed-adjustment phase. During this phase, you can begin to bring in additional foods to your daily meal plan. With your body’s new and heightened sense of awareness, you should instinctively know which foods are right for you. You can also now enjoy an occasional deviation meal or even a glass of wine. More important, you will learn how to take a healthy approach to special occasions. Your coach will continue to support you and monitor your progress during this phase.

  • Phase 4: The maintenance phase is the final phase. You can stay in this phase for the rest of your life by following the already familiar principles. 

Can I still have coffee or tea?

Yes. Most plans are allowed 1-3 cups of black coffee or tea but only with meals.

Can I still have wine?

Any alcohol will be omitted until Phase 3. After you reach this phase, it may be possible to enjoy an occasional glass of wine. 

Is the plan suitable for vegetarians?

Yes. The plan is fine for vegetarians as long as you still eat eggs, dairy, soy and tofu. Unfortunately this means that the plan is not suitable for vegans. 

Do I need to exercise on this plan?

Exercise is discouraged in the first 2 weeks due to the resetting of the body. After this time, daily movement is encouraged as part of a healthy lifestyle. By this time you will have energy and want to start moving.

What is the cost of the plan?

The total cost is $1645. This covers your initial consultation, blood tests, nutrition plan, 7 follow up appointments, facebook support group and gift pack. Payments can be made up front or via payment plan over the 12 weeks. Once you have done this program, you have your plan for life.
